Old but so bueatiful

Nikon D600

This is the old timer in my collection (2012) and my first full frame ever. I bought it second for about $300. its specs dont shine anymore, but if I only had to use one camera on my list, it would be this. Don’t be put off by its shape and size. Nothing produces beautiful colours like this beauty does. It has a 24 megapixel sensor.

A real everyday carry

Ricoh GR III (and Street Edition)

Its modern classic that is so popular with many street photographers. Released in early 2019, the Ricoh GR III is a compact, and truly the only camera that I have used that is one handed operable, that included menu diving.

It has a wonderful 28mm equivalent lens and a 24MP APS-C sensor. Its very discreet and feather like light.
The Street Edition is the same camera just with a charcoal gray finish with orange accents. No idea why I bought it, I was depressed at the time and I wanted something special to cheer myself up.

First camera love

Fujifilm X-T1

This is the little guy that started it all off. 16MP sensor that has created some of my favourite coloured images, in terms of preference it’s close to my Nikon D600 in beautiful renditions of light.

It was released in 2014 and I still think its Fuji’s most beautiful looking camera. It’s not without its flaws though

It will never break your heart

Fujifilm X-T30

I bought this as a cheap replacement, I couldnt afford a better camera. All I knew was I needed a Fuji.

This camera has special place in my collections, its the sturdiest so far, its got a great size, does good video, has interchangable lenses and decent autofocus. It doesn’t shine it any one area, but does great it many.

With a 26 mega pixel sensor it’s like my little best friend that never breaks my heart.

The best ergonomics

Sony A6300

I bought this at a little later than I did my X-T1, I have yet to do a review on this as of the time of building this gear page. I have a love hate thing with this camera.

Makes great video, and great photos. Has the best ergnoimics in my hand than any other camera, which is why I have never sold it (I did give it away once, but it came back – a long story). If you buy me a beer I will tell you that story.

This mirrorless camera has a 24MP, solid 4K video, fast autofocus.

Can’t live without lenses

Fujinon XF 16mm f/2.8 WR

This is a tiny, weather-resistant prime that punches way above its weight.

It’s super compact and gives a 24mm equivalent field of view — wide enough for street, travel, and even some environmental portraits.

Alot of fun to use.

7Artisans 35mm f/1.2 (Manual Lens)

Manual focus only, but wide open it gives a dreamy, cinematic look — soft and glowy at the edges, razor-thin depth of field.

Well built lookis wonderful on Fuji bodies especially the retro looking ones. It has 50mm field of view.

Fujinon XF 18–55mm f/2.8–4 R LM OIS

This has to be one of the best “kit lens” ever. The XF 18–55mm came with my Fujifilm X-T1 and I used solo for many years.

It feels premuim and very durable it doesn’t feel like your typical cheap plastic starter zoom.

Its ok in good light not so great in low.

Must used piece of kit

Most used and useful kit

Peak Design (Wrist Strap & Camera Slide Sling)

This is my most used piece of kit.

The Peak Design wrist strap and sling along with the little clever red anchor links have been on all my cameras.

After so many years rubber grip has come off but otherrwise in perfect shape. Have never once worried about dropping a camera body with this sling around me or on my rest.n low.

Must have for the Ricohs

Shoulder strap cases for Ricohs)

The Ricoh are trully pocketable cameras with big capablities.

These fragile little unicorns need to be proctected, I would say this should case is a must for someone who loves, wants to protect their little Ricohs.
